The 1879 Group has been in existence since 1998.
Since its formation The Group has attended many events across the country, and also in South Africa. Some of these were events were with the 1879 Group as the only participants, and some were shared with other re-enactment group - some multiperiod gatherings covering a wide range of eras.
Recently a few memmbers have shared photographs from these events and given permission for them to be used on the Group's website. As more items become available they will be added to the website. Please note that locations and dates of images are approximate as many items were not labelled - errors will be corrected as they come to light.
